The Greencastle Summer Music Festival Goes Virtual

The Greencastle Summer Music Festival has temporarily transformed into the Greencastle Virtual Music Festival until it is safe to return to in-person performances. Eric Edberg, founding Artistic Director of the Greencastle Summer Music Festival, said the groups’ commitment to bringing together the community with friends making music for friends remain unchanged.


The Greencastle Virtual Music Festival will be hosting online concerts for the rest of 2020 on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm, starting this week on October 28, 2020. You can join them on Facebook, YouTube, or in their Zoom virtual viewing party.


This Wednesday, you can enjoy “Woven Together: Celebrating Our Community” featuring (in alphabetical order) local residents pianist Claude Cymerman, cellist Eric Edberg, poet Joe Heithaus, singer/songwriter Bobbie Lancaster, and pianist/composer Cathie Malach. We’ll hear some Bach on the cello, original music from Bobbie and Cathie, poems from Joe, and dazzling Gershwin from Claude.
