Farmers’ Markets Offer Locally Grown Produce

It’s the time of year when garden fresh produce has matured and is making its way to the dinner table. Buying local not only helps support your community, it also ensures you know where your food is coming from. Putnam County has three Farmers’ Market for those interested in locally owned, locally produced goods. The Bainbridge Farmers’ Market is held in the Bainbridge Community building on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Greencastle Farmers’ Market is held on the Court House Square on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the Cloverdale Farmers’ Market is also on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You can find much more than produce at the markets; many times there are handmade gifts and art among many others. Show your support for our community and check out one of the Farmers’ Markets.
