Jack Duane McCullough, 85, of Cory, Indiana, passed away on July 21, 2020, following an extended illness.
Jack was born in Cory, Indiana on August 18, 1934, the son of Mack and Hattie (Stoops) McCullough. Jack was a member of the Cory Zion Church and had attended there nearly all his life. He graduated from Cory High School with the class of 1952. Jack worked for Quaker Maid, for a while, prior to enlisting in the United States Army in 1956. He was honorably discharged on November 4, 1957. Jack worked as a farmer and Rural Mail Carrier in Cory and Clay City for many years.
When he wasn’t working he enjoyed bowling, watching IU Basketball, playing Pinochle and spending time with his family.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Mack and Hattie McCullough; 2 sisters: Marjorie Gard and Doris Wall; and a brother Robert McCullough.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 60 years, Jane Ann (Seddelmeyer) McCullough, whom he married on November 11, 1960; his son Jeff McCullough; his daughter Jill Coleman (Chuck); a grandson Benjamin Coleman and wife Leslie; 3 great-grandchildren: Abby, Maci, and Benjamin Jr.; a brother Mack McCullough and wife Caroline; a sister Kathryn Gilbert; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
Due to concerns regarding the Corona Virus, private graveside services have been chosen.
