MORGAN COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction and subcontractor E&B Paving Inc. plan to begin concrete joint patching this week at the intersection of S.R. 67 and S.R. 144 in Mooresville.
The intersection will remain open while work is in progress, but traffic will be shifted. Patching is scheduled to begin at noon today (July 6) and continue overnight through noon on Tuesday (July 7). Work is also planned for Wednesday and Thursday this week (noon to noon), weather permitting.
The project is part of a $4.1 million superstructure replacement contract for the S.R. 67 bridges over Little White Lick Creek located just south of the intersection. Work will continue on the bridges through late October.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
