Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the “Greatest spectacle in racing,” the Indy 500 has been pushed. This weekend what would have been thousands of race fans, was thousands of Hoosier families at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Saturday. Gleaners Food Bank hosted their second Gleaners Mega Food Drive at the track. Thousands of families showed up to get receive boxes of healthy and perishable foods. Gleaners says they are still seeing about twice as many people as usual in need of food during this pandemic.
