GenCon Canceled

INDIANAPOLIS — There will be no gaming convention in Indianapolis this summer. The organizers of GenCon have announced that the annual convention, scheduled for July 30 – Aug. 2, has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns.

The convention is Indy’s largest every year, usually bringing in 70,000 visitors and $70 million to the city. In place of the event, the convention’s organizers have announced plans for “GenCon Online,” a free virtual convention.
