Mary Francis Krauchi

Mary F. Hyatt Wilson Krauchi, 84, of Clay City, went to be with the Lord, on April 24, 2020 at 2:15pm at the home of her sister. She was born February 15, 1936 in Clay County, the daughter of Cash and Myrtle Dalton Hyatt. She was a caregiver for several years, staying with people in their homes.
She was a member of the First United Church of Christ. Mary enjoyed being with her family and friends. She had a special group that met for breakfast each week and she enjoyed her time with friends playing Euchre. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, 21 Club and the VFW Auxiliary.
She was married to Clifford Wilson in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1999. She later married George Krauchi and he passed away in 2006.
Survivors include her sister Alta Edwards of Clay City; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; sisters, Evelyn Stoops, and Thelma Stevenson; brothers, Forest Hyatt, Alfred Hyatt and John Hyatt; brothers in law, John Edwards and Harvey Stevenson.
Due to our current restrictions, graveside services will be held Monday at 2:30pm at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Bob Wilkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Clay City Food Pantry. Post a note of condolence at
