Mahi Stanley Sang

Mahi Stanley Sang, 64 of Brazil, passed away April 3, 2020 at 11:15pm at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. He was born September 5, 1955, in Los Angles, CA, the son of Lani Sang and Charlotte Apa Sang.
He met and later married Rhonda Reedy Sang on April 8, 1978. They made their way here to Clay County and made this home in 1987.
Mahi worked at Great Dane in Brazil, and then later for Oxford and IAC in Greencastle. He last worked at Great Dane in Terre Haute as a welder. He retired in January of 2019. The last several years of work, he endured three days a week of dialysis while working.
In the past and when he was feeling well, he enjoyed music. He could play guitar, bass, piano, drums and was a wonderful vocalist. He loved the Classic Rock, James Taylor, the Eagles and Journey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Keola Sang and Kinau Sang.
Survivors include his devoted wife Rhonda Sang; a stepson, Christopher Reedy; sisters Mamo Marion, Wailana Banker (John); brothers, Lani Sang, Jr. (Gloria), Kalani Sang, Hala Sang (Jeannette); many nieces, nephews and ohana.
At his request, cremation was chosen, and no services will be held at this time.
