Scott D. Kashon, 56, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at his home, on March 21, 2020 unexpectedly.
Scott was born on November 9, 1963, in Gary, Indiana the son of Vachel and Barbara (Guinn) Kashon. He graduated from South Vermillion High School with the class of 1982. Scott had been working at NAPA in Rockville, Indiana for the past several years.
He loved to watch any sport but was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan. He loved the beach and ocean, was a social butterfly that never met a stranger. His favorite pastime was lazy Sunday afternoons with his wife and dogs.
Scott survived by his wife Gail Kashon; his daughter Arin Scott and husband Chris of Clinton, Indiana, a son Nathan Kashon and wife Michelle of St. Louis, Missouri and their daughters Meera & Marlie; step-daughter Melissa Howard and husband Ben of Terre Haute; step-son Michael Medearis and wife Brailyn Medearis of Brazil; sister Polly Winters and husband Dan of Clinton, Indiana; a brother Phill Kashon and wife Pam of Clinton, Indiana; a brother and sister-in-law Gary Poggemoeller and wife Terri of St. Louis, Missouri; his furry companions D-Dog (Dexter) & Gracie plus many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that were like his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbra (Guinn) Kashon, father Vachel Kashon, sister Penny Kashon, granddaughter Avery Scott, and many grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
In lieu of a visitation or funeral there will be a celebration of life date and time to be determined.
