Frank was born on July 6th, 1940, in Brazil, Indiana, the son of Ora and Ruth (Modesitt) Rader.
He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1959. Following high school, he served in the Army National Guard. He married Patsy Michael on December 31, 1959.
He worked as a farmer and at Alcan, retiring after 30 years of employment.
Frank enjoyed collecting John Deere items, being outdoors, telling stories, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Knightsville 409/Centennial 541 Masonic Lodge, a member of the Scottish Rite, as well as a longtime member of Berea Christian Church.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Ruth Rader, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Rader; his three children: Rebecca Rader; Steven Rader, and wife Tammy; and Michael Rader, and wife Matricia, all of Brazil; grandchildren: Jade Lishka (Kevin), Amber Whitecotten, Matthew Rader (Orlando), Hannah Whittington, Eric Rader, Kalissa Yocom (James), Christopher Rader, Brandon Rader, and Mikayla Rader; great-grandchildren: Kyleen and Kaleb Whitecotten, Emma Jenkins, Sophia and Brycen Lishka, Anthony and Hunter Rader, Leo Yocom, and Raelynn Rader; as well as several foster children through the years, and several extended family members.
A private funeral service will be held at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Monday, March 23, 2020 at 2:00pm including a Masonic Service. Visitation will be from 11-2:00 at the funeral home We will be following the guidelines of 10 or less people in the chapel, we ask for understanding and patience. If friends so desire, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley or to Berea Christian Church.
