MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the I-74 eastbound on ramp from U.S. 231 (Exit 34) will reopen late Monday, October 14. Traffic will be back in the eastbound lanes after the ramp reopens. However, work will continue on the Little Sugar Creek Bridge through November 8. There will be various lane restrictions as the contractor works to complete this project.
This project included replacing the decks on the bridges over Sugar Creek and the CSX Railroad, and constructing new bridges over U.S. 231, Little Sugar Creek and over Black Creek. ICC Group, Inc. was awarded the $14.6 million project.
