Drugs found in semi in Hendricks County

Hundreds of pounds of pot and cocaine discovered in the trailer of a semi in Hendricks County. State police say they pulled the semi over for a standard compliance check, that’s to make sure the truck driver and their rig are following the rules for commercial traffic on interstates. During the inspection, troopers became suspicious and eventually found hidden compartments throughout the rig. Inside them they found just over 220 pounds of cocaine and another 130 pounds of marijuana. The driver, John Jackson of Michigan, is charged with drug dealing and possession.
