Sharon Kay Stallcop

Sharon Kay Stallcop, 75, of Brazil, passed away Wednesday September 11, 2019 in Regional Hospital surrounded by her famiy. She was born in Brazil on July 31, 1944, the daughter of David W. and Margaret “Peggy” (Piso) Danhour.

Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Van Buren High School and was a waitress for the former Blue Bonnet Restaurant and many of the local truck stops. She loved to cook for crowds. Her family was a very important element in her life. She adored spending every minute being a wife, mother and grandma. Sharon was an active member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, yard selling, working puzzle books, watching Wheel of Fortune, HGTV and The Food Network.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Paul Stallcop; her son, Kevin Stallcop and wife, Donna; three granddaughters, Sarah Conley and husband, Jacob, Hannah Wilson and husband, Andrew and Deborah Stallcop; great-grandchildren, Makenna Conley, Avalon, Lochlan and Calin Wilson; two brothers, Curtis Danhour and wife, Phyllis and John Danhour and wife, Connie, two sisters, Karen Sue Vanatti and husband, Chet and Joyce Wheeler and husband, Dan; and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; a step-father, Harvey Day; two sons, Eddie Ray and Stephen Dale Stallcop; and a daughter, Sherrie Lynn Stallcop.

Funeral services will be conducted on 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 14, 2019 at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Avenue. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
