Explore the World of Solar on July 31st

Join presenter Eric Kirkpatrick at the Putnam County Public Library on Wednesday, July 31st from 6-7:30 p.m. in an exploration of the world of solar. You may have heard of solar panels, seen them while driving, or even experimented with a solar project for your home, but how does it really work? What does one need to consider when thinking about beginning a solar project? Kirkpatrick is a retired U. S. Army software project leader and has managed the development of several major logistics software systems for the Army’s Future Combat Systems. He has 33 years of experience developing and managing the development of computer software systems for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. He is a member of Castlemakers and has designed and installed a Photovoltaic Solar system at his home in Greencastle.
