DePauw University Street Traffic Changes and Street Closures Update for week of July 22, 2019

 

NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN – College Avenue, south of Olive Street

College Avenue continues as a two-way traffic pattern south of Olive Street due to construction that has closed the Olive Street intersection.   The two way traffic pattern will continue through early August.

CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC ALERT – Entire campus area.

Please be aware of detours, construction traffic, and work zones throughout the campus area.  Construction work continues at full speed with multiple contractors on campus.

ON-GOING INTERSECTION CLOSURE – College Avenue and Olive Street

The intersection of College Avenue and Olive Street remains closed for the installation of storm sewer pipes.

ON-GOING STREET CLSOURE – Larrabee Street – east of Indiana Street

Larrabee Street is closed east of Indiana Street for the installation of campus utilities.

NEW STREET CLOSURE – Hanna Street, between Locust and Indiana Streets

Beginning on Monday, July 22, through August 15, Hanna Street will be closed for installation of campus utility lines and storm sewer work.

NEW STREET CLOSURE – Locust Street, South of Olive Street – Revised Dates

Beginning Monday, July 29 through August 15, Locust Street from Olive Street to Howard Street may be closed for the replacement of a sanitary sewer line in the middle of the street.   The starting date and work schedule will depend on weather conditions.

Users of Locust Street are urged to find alternate routes such as Bloomington and Jackson Streets during the construction period for this project.

            Anderson Street – Between Locust and Bloomington

            Locust Street – Between Seminary and Hanna

            Lincoln Avenue – South of Olive Street
