>>Liverpool FC Plays In South Bend Friday

(South Bend, IN)  —  Liverpool FC is coming to Notre Dame.  The reigning European soccer champions will play a preseason friendly match with German club Borussia Dortmund on Friday at Notre Dame Stadium.  The teams will practice there on Thursday.  Notre Dame students, faculty, staff and their immediate families are free to attend practice.

>>Colts’ Rookies Report Sunday

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  Training camp is just around the corner for the Indianapolis Colts.  Rookies are due to report to camp on Sunday, while veterans must report a week from today.  The Colts open the preseason on August 8th at the Buffalo Bills.  The first home preseason game is August 17th against the Cleveland Browns.

>>Big Ten Media Days Open Tomorrow

(Chicago, IL)  —  Contingents from both Indiana and Purdue will take part in the Big Ten Media Days tomorrow in Chicago.  Indiana head coach Tom Allen will speak with the press Thursday, along with seniors Coy Cronk, Reakwon Jones and Nick Westbrook.  Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm meets the press on Friday with seniors Markus Bailey and Lorenzo Neal along with sophomore Rondale Moore.

>>Mets Drop Indians

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  Ruben Tejada drove in four runs for the Mets as they dropped the Indians 5-2 at Victory Field.  Will Craig launched a solo homer and singled in another run to provide the offense for Indianapolis.  Mitch Keller was charged with the loss and former football star Tim Tebow went 0-for-4 for Syracuse.  Game three of the four-game set is tonight at Victory Field.

>>Fever Host Mystics Friday

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Fever look to break out of their current slump as they host the Washington Mystics on Friday night.  Indiana is 6-and-12 on the season and has lost seven of its past eight games.  The Mystics arrive at 9-and-6 but are on a three-game slide.  Friday is the first of three games against Washington this season.
