Henry Nathan Wallen Sr., 66, of Greencastle passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Hickory Creek at Sunset.
Henry was born in Morgan County on Aug. 31, 1952, the son of Unis and Amanda Mae (Kirkpatrick) Wallen, and attended Fillmore High School.
Mr. Wallen worked for 38 years with Indy Truck and Trailer. After they closed, he worked for Greencastle Community Schools until his health forced him into retirement.
He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Deborah Wallen; a son, Henry Nathan Wallen Jr., Avon; two grandchildren, Gavin Wallen and Delani Wallen, both of Brazil; a niece Miranda Crawley, Greencastle; his sister-in-law, Cheryl Crawley; his aunt Frances Vontress, Greencastle; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Homer, James, Abraham and Neil Wallen; two sisters, Iris and Marie Wallen; a stepbrother, Bobby Stanger; his mother and father-in-law, Randall and Marie Crawley; and a brother-in-law, Stephen Crawley.
At his request a cremation he was cremated.
Arrangements were entrusted to Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
