On Friday, the Fever beat the Dallas Wings at home, 79-64, thanks to Natalie Achonwa’s 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. The Wings are 3-and-2 this season.

(Knoxville, TN) — Former Notre Dame standout Ruth Riley was among a group of women inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall Of Fame this weekend. The North Miami grad won a national title with the Fighting Irish, along with being named the Naismith Player of the Year in 2001. She played 13 seasons in the WNBA with Miami, Detroit, San Antonio, Chicago and Atlanta. She also won a gold medal with the US in the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
