Cloverdale                               191
Clay City – Justin Hopkins 38, Tanner Strauch 45, Zach Allender 47, Logan Roeschlain 52, Derw Schultz 52, Hunter Culver 56
Cloverdale – Michael Holsapple 39, Wyatt Helterbrand 47, Kyle Thomas 52, Cody Morris 52, Josh Allen 52
Michael had an outstanding round. He was finally able to sustain the quality of play through the entire nine holes. We have known he was capable of shooting under 40, but he found the consistency that had been eluding him thus far. Wyatt struggled for part of the round before getting things fixed.  The sporadic opportunities to play due to weather this spring have prevented him from getting into a steady pattern. We are hoping the latter part of this round is the beginning of getting that right.
Kyle made huge improvement from his last round. He has figured some things out and is striking the ball much better, and his confidence is starting to build. He is moving in the right direction, and quickly.  Cody and Josh both had some bright moments, but also a couple of holes that were very rough.  They are improving and becoming more consistent. Consistency is a constant theme for us and will remain so for the rest of the season.  We are a much better team now than we were a month ago, but we have not reached a point that we can say we are satisfied.
Cloverdale hosts the Putnam County Tournament on Thursday at Clover Meadows.
