Shelby Jean Woessner, 81, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.
She was born July 14, 1937 in Harlan County, Ky., the daughter of King David and Louise (Parker) Rogers.
Shelby was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church of Monrovia.
She is survived by her companion, Dale Wallace; children Darlene (husband William) Duke, Glenda (husband Rick) Walden, Wanda (husband Bill) Hart, Lorna (husband Michael) Rogers, Garry (wife Megan) Woessner Billy Dixon and Jearl (wife Ruby) Dixon; a sister, Anna Vera (husband Curtis) Cope; brother Walter (wife Mary) Rogers; stepson Richard Wallace; 29 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at Clinton Falls Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 at the funeral home.
