Compliance Check Leads to Three Arrests

Clay County—On Friday, September 14, Indiana State Police troopers assisted the Clay County Community Corrections and Clay County Probation Office with a routine compliance check at 716 North Washington Street in Brazil. During a search of the residence, officers located approximately 862 grams of suspected methamphetamine, $7,657 in US currency, and paraphernalia items. Three occupants were taken into custody and incarcerated in the Clay County Justice Center.

Justin Levi Burnham, age 31, Brazil, IN. was preliminarily charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Dealing in Methamphetamine, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Mackenzie Lynn Watson, age 30, Brazil, IN. was preliminarily charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Baylee R. Thompson, age 19, of Greencastle, IN. was preliminarily charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
