On August 26th, 2018, around 3:30 AM, Parke County Deputies, along with Rockville Police and Montezuma Police, responded to a residence on Coloma Rd for a male subject attempting to gain entry into a residence. While responding, the homeowner reported seeing the male fall in her backyard. Upon arrival , officers located Otis Wilson (29) of Rockville, underneath the tree. Officers detained and transported to the Parke County Jail. Upon arrival at the jail, Otis was found to be over .25% BAC acceptance limit to be housed in the Jail. Otis was transported to Union Hospital of Clinton for medical evaluation. Otis was later transported to the Parke County Jail where he was booked-in for Public Intoxication, a Class B Demeanor. Otis was held on $5,000 bond with no 10%, and was later bonded out. Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
