The Putnam County Public Library Community Help Desk will be reduced to four days a week starting August 17th
. The new hours will be every Monday
from 4:00 to 7:30
, and every Tuesday
, from 1:00 to 4:00
help desk hours are being retired because of staffing changes.
The Community Help Desk has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair your computer and electronics. It is first-come first-served (no appointment necessary) and is free and open to the public. Patrons must accompany their computers or electronics at all times, please no drop offs. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes
. If your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, we may recommend you take it to a professional. Very rarely the help desk will get cancelled due to staff sick days or library holiday closings so you may want to check the online events calendar at PCPL21.org
, or call the library at 653-2755, before heading out.
