Too late for a GCB run, a man allegedly broke into Marvins’s around 3 a.m. Wednesday. Greencastle Police then arrested 50 yr. old Douglas Flynn late Thursday in connection.
The suspect was able to steal $500 from the cash register and an undisclosed amount from a tip jar.
A person of interest was discovered through video surveillance at the location. This information led to the issuing of a search warrant that ultimately had Douglas Flynn arrested for a Level 5 Felony Burglary.
Flynn was booked into the Putnam County Jail, and the case will be turned over to the Putnam County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of formal charges against Flynn.
