Sharelle K. Martin

Sharelle K. Britton Martin, 75, of Brazil passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 in her residence. She was born June 4, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Max Snyder and Dianna Weddle Snyder. Sharelle last worked for Exceptional Living Center of Brazil in laundry services.
She was a graduate of Brazil Senior High School class of 1962. She worked at many places in the area including the original Tasty Freeze, Raccoon State Park, The Moose Lodge, Cloverleaf Healthcare of Brazil, P. R. Mallory in Greencastle and Danner’s Discount Store (3-D) in Brazil. Sharelle also loved to cook, bake and go dancing whenever she could.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Bob Martin; her son, Tony Britton and his companion Kelly Moss; her daughter, Amber Martin-Jones; 9 grandchildren, Todd Britton, Jr, Megan Slater, Bryce, Seth, Shea and Ali Britton, Michael Smith, Jonathan and Nikki Odom; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Max and Steve Snyder; a daughter-in-law, Laura Britton; 2 sisters-in-law, Linda Crosley and Ann McMurrey; 2 uncles, Les and Marietta Martin and Don and Doris Martin; best friends, Nancy Stylesburg and Ralph Glover; special cousins, Charlene Wilson, Shirley Doyle and Nina Stewart; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sharelle was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband of 32 years, Phillip Britton; and a son, Todd Britton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 19 N. Alabama Street with Father Hollowell officiating. Burial will be in Clearview cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM Thursday in Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Avenue.
