In partnership with the Greencastle Fire Department and the Greencastle Parks and Recreation department, the Youth Firefighter academy has been added to the Robe-Ann Park Summer Camp Schedule. The camp will take place from 9 a.m to noon, Monday-Friday, June 25-29 at shelter #2 in Robe-Ann Park.
Firefighters dedicate their lives to the protection of life and property, and it comes with hours of on-going training. Join members of the Greencastle Fire Department as they explore the career of a Firefighter by participation in fire extinguisher and fitness training, team building, hose drills, and a whole lot more! The youth Firefighter academy is open to boys and girls entering the 6-8 grades. All participants will receive a uniform t-shirt and shorts. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
The cost is $10.00 per person. Interested youth must be registered by Tuesday, June 19 to participate.
