Bob Ralston

Bob Ralston, 57, passed away peacefully Friday, May 25, 2018, at home surrounded by his loved ones, after a long and hard fought battle.

He was born June 29, 1960, at Portland, Oregon. He was adopted by Ruby and John Ralston. He attended North Montgomery High School. He started working in telecommunications at the age of 18, and continued in that field for his entire career.

He married the love of his life, Lisa, on Oct. 29, 1994. He was a loving father to five children: daughter Mandy (John) Kriegel, daughter Jamey (Kyle) Clark, son Nathan Ralston, son Trae (Rebecca) Ralston and daughter Bailee Ralston. His proudest achievements were his four granddaughters, Alivia, Adriana, Lydia and Lyla. We can’t forget his furry, sixth child, Scarlet.

Bob was a member of The Bridge Community Church. He enjoyed seeing his kids and grandkids play in their sports and music programs. Bob also enjoyed his Roster Wars Fantasy Football Team, his Hostas and his gnomes and he was a loyal Colts fan to the end.

A casual celebration of life gathering will be held 2-5 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the Bridge Community Church, 1403 Winchester Road, Decatur. Colts attire is welcomed.

Memorial donations may be made to the family.
