Man arrested 24 hours after being released from Putnam County Jail

A Coatesville man was arrested Wednesday  on four charges just one day after being released from the Putnam County Jail on charges back on April 10. William Grogan of Heritage Lake is facing charges including criminal mischief, resisting law enforcement, reckless possession of paraphernalia, and burglary. According to officials, Grogan allegedly broke into a storage shed at Anthony’s Pizza, which was caught on video. Greencastle police officers were dispatched to the scene, when police were informed a man matching Grogan’s description was observed near Hanna Street east of Locust. While trying to detain Grogan, he became combative and was taken to the Putnam County Hospital with a heart issue, and then later in the evening was taken to the Putnam County jail.
