Drug Arrest in Rockville

On Monday afternoon, shortly after 4pm, Parke County Deputies responded to a residence on North Nyesville Road in Rockville where a 911 caller reported intimidation. The man that called said he was being threatened by another man who had a hammer. Deputies arrived and obtained a search warrant to search the residence and the property. Once there, they found methamphetamine, syringes and numerous drug paraphernalia. Deputies then arrested 39 year old Kiley Vanderheyden. She was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia. Once at the jail though, Vanderhayden attacked a jail employee and flushed syringes down the toilet. 64 year old Cheryl Stafford, 36 year old Travis Wallace, and 35 year old Justin Hazlett were also arrested for various drug charges.
