The Library’s Community Help Desk Has New, Expanded Hours

The Putnam County Public Library has expanded their Community Help Desk hours for 2018. The Community Help Desk is now open additional evening hours and on Wednesdays to make getting the tech help you need more convenient for you.

Putnam County Public Library’s Community Help Desk has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair your computer and electronics. It is first-come-first-served (no appointments) and is free and open to the public. Patrons must accompany their computers or electronics at all times; please no drop offs. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes. If your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, we may recommend that you take it to a professional. Very rarely the help desk will get cancelled due to staff sick days or library holiday closings so you may want to check the online events calendar at PCPL21.org, or call the library at 653-2755, before heading out.
