JAKKS Pacific/Pacers Toy Giveaway in Greencastle on Monday

For the eighth consecutive year, JAKKS Pacific Toy Company has donated toys to Pacers Sports & Entertainment for the Pacers, Fever and Mad Ants to distribute among deserving Hoosier children. This year, through the generosity of JAKKS chairman Stephen Berman and PS&E owner Herb Simon, more than 50 youth-serving non-profit organizations throughout the state will be served.  In addition, toys for children in hurricane-affected NBA cities of Houston, Miami and Orlando will be included in the donation. The program began on December 1 in Fort Wayne. Now, JAKKS is bringing the drive to Greencastle. It will be held at TZ Elementary, 500 Linwood Drive in Greencastle on Monday, December 11 at 4:oo pm. Pacers Mascot Boomer will be on hand, as well as Fever mascot Freddie, Mayor Bill Dory; Chief of Police Tom Sutherlin; Assistant Brian Hopkins; 20 children from TZ Elementary and 20 from FOP Santa Drop.
