The Montgomery County man charged with animal cruelty after he set a cat on fire in January, was sentenced to probation Tuesday and ordered to pay a fine. 19-year-old Noah Riley was sentenced to 730 days of probation. He will receive jail credit of 48 days. He was also ordered to pay $3,304.39 in restitution to the Animal Welfare League. According to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, the cat was tied up, doused in gasoline and set ablaze. The cat died from her injuries days later.
