Gas prices up due to hurricanes

The state average for gasoline is a dime below the national average today. You’re paying $2.56 on average today in Indiana, and $2.60 in Putnam County. The national average is $2.66. The higher prices are being blamed on oil production shortfalls, thanks to Hurricane Harvey. The cheapest gas in the state was in Monticello where one station had it for $2.28.
