The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department in conjunction with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have come closer to identifying the criminals behind the home invasion incident that occurred on April 2nd. During that incident it is reported that four masked men armed with firearms broke into a residence in rural Madison Township and held a man and woman at gunpoint and stole valuables and cash. Authorities recently conducted a search warrant on a residence located near the southeast side of Indy and uncovered evidence that links the occupants of the Indy home to the thieves responsible to the home invasion. During that search all five occupants of the Indy home were arrested on charges out of Marion County. As of this article no Putnam County charges have been filed, but charges are planned in the future. Authorities also report that the investigation now has solid primary suspects.
