
On March 1st, Parke County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to an address in northwestern Parke County, just south of Waveland, in an attempt to locate a wanted person out of Hendricks County. During the investigation, deputies smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from the residence. Deputies were able to successfully execute a search warrant where they located marijuana, paraphernalia, syringes, and methamphetamine. Jennifer Needham, age 44 of Waveland, was arrested and charged with maintaining a nuisance and possession of a syringe, marijuana, meth and paraphernalia. She was then booked into the Parke County Jail on a $10,00 bond. Additionally, Jeffrey Burghart, age 51 of Crawfordsville, was also arrested and charged with maintaining a nuisance, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was also booked into the Parke County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
