A woman has been arrested for attempting to traffic controlled substances to an inmate at the Putnamville Correctional Facility on November 3rd. According to police, Sherita Brown, age 32 of Indianapolis was visiting an inmate named Marvin Ford at the Putnamville Correctional Facility. Ford is currently serving his 30 year sentence for attempted murder. During the visit, PCF staff noticed Brown hand Ford 34 strips of suspected suboxone. The strips were confiscated and field tested positive for cocaine and nearly 2 grams of synthetic marijuana was found on Brown’s person. Brown was arrested and taken to the Putnam County Jail for attempted trafficking narcotics, and possession of cocaine, controlled substance and synthetic marijuana.
