On October 22nd, the Parke County Sheriff’s Department deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Montezuma on the US 36 bridge. During the stop, deputies identified the driver as David Carroll, age 33 of Hillsdale. Further investigation revealed that Carroll had his license suspended earlier this year. Deputies then conducted a search of the vehicle and located several syringes and drug paraphernalia. Carroll was taken to the Parke County Jail where with a bond of $10,000 for Driving While Suspended Prior, Possession of Syringes and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
