24 Arrested After Year Long Counterfeit Investigation at Covered Bridge Festival

The ISP has been busy busting counterfeiters at the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. According to police reports, the ISP has arrested 24 people for selling counterfeit items during the festival. The counterfeited items are mostly articles of clothing that were created to look like popular brand name clothes such as Nike and Adidas. The police were able to find the offenders by shopping at the covered bridge festival undercover. This was done due to complaints last year from citizens claiming that they were sold counterfeit items. Undercover police were able to find the source of the fake items, obtain a search warrant and confiscate thousands of counterfeited items.
