The Spencer Police Department will be hosting their final “DRUG TAKE BACK” day of the year on Saturday, October 22nd, from 10AM to Noon. You do Not need to be concerned about removing labels from your prescription medication bottles because everything collected on Drug Take Back Day will be incinerated by DEA in Indianapolis. Spencer Police will be on hand to collect all expired, unused, or unwanted medications. Both prescription and over-the-counter medication, as well as veterinarian pet medication will be accepted. Needles and sharps containers will be accepted. Please inform the collecting officers if you are disposing of sharps. All paraphernalia and any illegal drugs will also be accepted, no questions asked. You’re encouraged to take this opportunity to clear out your medicine cabinets, and prevent the abuse of unused medications. If you are unable to attend Drug Take Back Day on the October 22nd, you are invited to drop off all medications, drugs, and sharps, to the Spencer Police Department, throughout this upcoming week. No Questions Asked! All drop offs will be incinerated alongside the Drug Take Back Day collection.
