The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that they will be closing portions of I-70 near Putnam County this week to begin construction and improvement projects. The sections to be closed are I-70 West on Wednesday, August 24th and I-70 East on Thursday, August 25th between noon and 5am. The project will require the right lane to be closed in either direction from the 13.5MM to the 14.5MM when work begins on the bridges located near Tabertown St. and Honey Creek. ISP will be on scene to help traffic through the set detours on SR 59 and SR 46. Use caution when driving around these areas.
