On Thursday morning, August 18th at 01:17, Indiana State Police troopers and Terre Haute Fire Department units responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on westbound Interstate 70 near the 11 mile marker. Preliminary investigation revealed 28-year-old Autumn Renee Stone of Brazil, IN. was operating her 2004 Ford Explorer westbound on I-70 in the passing lane. For unknown reasons she swerved to the right, traveled across the driving lane, down an embankment and rolled over two or more times before coming to rest upright north of the interstate. Autumn R. Stone was transported to Terre Haute Regional for possible internal injuries and was cited for Driving While Suspended (Prior). Additional citations may be possible. Her four-year-old son was seated in a properly installed child safety seat and was not injured. A front seat passenger, Chastity Lynn Lich, age 38, of Terre Haute, IN. was a front seat passenger and had to be extricated by the Terre Haute Fire Department. Lich was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of suspected spinal injuries. The current conditions of the patients is currently unknown.
