James Ray Barnett, 59, of Turner, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly August 12, 2016 at Union Hospital.
Ray was born November 30, 1956, in Clay County, Indiana the son of James and Juanita (Wampler) Barnett. He served his country in the United States Army. Ray worked for Hobby Trucking, as a truck driver, for many years. When he was not working you could find him riding his Harley or sitting on the back deck at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Juanita Barnett and his step-father James “One Eye” Wright and his brother Benjamin “Timmer” Barnett
Survivors include his siblings: Lori “Boo” (Barnett) Modesitt, Jack Barnett and Betty (Barnett) Metz as well as many extended family members and friends.
