FOP to host Charity Golf Classic benefiting Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.)

The Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #92 will be hosting the 2nd Annual Charity Golf Classic at Old Hickory Golf Course, located on North US 231, in Greencastle. The Golf Scramble will benefit the Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, which operates as a peer support network assisting survivors of line-of-duty death with rebuilding their lives. The Indiana C.O.P.S. organization also provides training on survivor victimization, and educates society on the need to support the law enforcement profession, along with its survivors. The Golf Scramble is Saturday, August 27th, with registration and lunch beginning at 11AM, and a tee-time of noon. Registration includes 18holes, a golf cart, lunch, and miniature golf challenges throughout the course, as well as various door prizes. Golfers can register as a single or a foursome. For questions or more information, contact Greencastle Police Sgt. Eric Vaughn at 765.848.1638, or visit this article at WREBfm.com for important links. Deadline for entry is August 5th.
