Irma Anne (Lemmons) Lundy, 80, of Brazil, passed away July 18, 2016 unexpectedly at her home.
Irma was born December 7, 1935 in Linton, the daughter of the late George Lemmons and Nina Hollen. She graduated from Linton High School with the class of 1953. Irma married the love of her life Albert Franklin Lundy on April 11, 1953. She was the matriarch of her family. Irma spent her earlier years raising her three children and in the later years enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed watching TV, crocheting and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Helena Lemmons, Iris Lemmons, and Georgia Holland.
Irma is survived by her husband of 63 years Albert Lundy; children, Joseph Lundy (Dawn), Lilac Parker (William), Jeanette Cofer (Gary); grandchildren, Erick Cofer, Gary Jr. Cofer, Anthony Cofer, Andrew Cofer, Alisha Cofer-Wenrick, Maria Harrison, Anita Gillison, Crystal Christy, Olivia Lundy, Jennifer Lundy; a slew of great grandchildren; sister, Esther Lemmons; as well as many extended family and friends.
At the request of the family cremation will take place. There will be a graveside service at a later date at Putnamville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susan G.
