This morning at 10:58, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers stopped a blue 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier for throwing burnt material from the car (cigarette) and a faulty brake light on 6th Street at Crawford Street in Terre Haute. During the investigation, troopers discovered approximately 2.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 3 grams of suspected marijuana, syringes, and assorted paraphernalia inside a bag within the vehicle. The passenger was also found to be wanted on a probation violation warrant from Vigo County. Arrested was Amanda R. Hancock, age 23 of Terre Haute, and Ashley A. McMmickle, age 25 of Brazil. Both were taken to the Vigo County Jail for multiple possession charges including Possession of Methamphetamine.
