As a result of an ongoing investigation, on June 3rd at 2pm Parke County Deputies arrested Charles Harold Courtney Jr. for Criminal Mischief. The ongoing investigation stems from an incident that occurred on May 26th 2016. According to reports Courtney entered the Baird Sawmill and caused significant damage to the loader and left the business, without notifying the business that he damaged their loader. On June 3rd Deputies located Courtney at Superior Hardwoods in Montezuma as he arrived to sell logs. Courtney then admitted to damaging the loader and was arrested. During the arrest deputies also recovered a half gram of crystal meth on Courtney and a meth pipe in his semi. Courtney was also wanted on a Clay County Warrant for Revocation of Probation. He is currently being held at the Parke County Jail with no bond.
