Bainbridge alumni banquet set for June 25

The 102nd annual Bainbridge High School (BHS) Alumni Association banquet is set for Saturday, June 25th in the Bainbridge Community Building.    The welcome hour will begin at 5 p.m. with the buffet dinner following at 6:30 p.m.

The program will be highlighted by the recognition of the second annual Bainbridge High School Alumni scholarship winner and entertainment by a local musician.  Lauren Johnston, a recent North Putnam High School graduate and daughter of Rick and Cammie Johnston, won the scholarship.   Entertainment will be by Larry Miller of Clinton Falls, who will sing and play his guitar.   He is a 1963 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Classes to be honored this year at the Banquet include:  1941 (75 years since graduation), 1946 (70 years since graduation), 1956 (60 years since graduation) and 1966 (50 years since graduation.)   Class speakers scheduled to make responses include:  Bill Lukenbill of Brownsburg for the 1946 class and Margaret Tippin Kessinger of rural Greencastle for the 1956 class.  Dick Evens of Maumee, Ohio will speak for the 50 year class of 1966.
