Victims Identified in Hendricks County Accident, Drugs and Alcohol May Have Caused Crash

The victims of the fatal two vehicle accident that occurred in Hendricks County have been identified. According to reports the double fatal collision occurred at Tudor Rd and County Rd. 350W just outside of Stilesville at 10pm last night. Investigators indicated that an SUV was traveling southeast on Tudor Rd. when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign at Co Rd 350W and struck a northbound pickup truck, which had the right of way. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead on the scene and was identified as 35 year old Joseph Illif of Stilesville. The passenger in the SUV was also pronounced dead at the scene and was identified as 35 year old Johnathon Walden of Plainfield. The female driver of the SUV was transported to IU Methodist with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol and Drugs are suspected as a contributing factor in the collision. The investigation is still ongoing and criminal charges have not yet been filed.
