“A Night without a Home” Fundraising Event Educating Teens about Homelessness & Poverty

The North Putnam High School Key Club will be sponsoring an overnight fundraising event with the theme, “A Night without a Home.” The students will spend the night of May 13th, into May 14th, sleeping in cardboard boxes on the high school football field. The students will also take part in activities planned to educate them about the reality of homelessness, and how every individual can help. The event serves to raise awareness of poverty and homelessness in the local communities, as well as raising much needed funds and goods for local shelters, food pantries, and dry pantries. For more information and to find out how you can help your local pantries and shelters, you can call (765) 522-6282 ext. 454.
