The Greencastle Community School Corporation announced their intentions to install brand new Wifi access points during their April public meeting. The board decided to distribute a total of 40 wifi access points to Ridpath and Deer Meadow by this year. The project will have a one time cost of $7,000. After the initial payment, it is predicted that the new Wifi access points will last approximately 10 years before needing complete replacement. This project will bring the elementary schools in Greencastle up to date and allow faster and more reliable internet service.
